There were some nice surprises waiting for me when I came home last week!
A spice rack!
Copper tubing for the rails... a very Kennyesque touch!
Shower walls, and a framed window! We bought copper colored flats from the metal roofing store, and lapped and sealed them with silicone to make them waterproof. I think this is a much more attractive solution that using corrugated metal. The window is framed in some really nice cedar we had sitting around (from the excellent Urban Lumber Company, back when we used to live in Oregon), and the edges of the shower are framed in planed cedar left over from the exterior siding.
A sloped sill, so water won't sit. We'll eventually have some sort of curtain to pull over the window while the shower is in use.
A shelf for one of the cabinets. The other one will have pull-outs.
A coat of finish on that table built so long ago....
And a cute little basket for the mini logs that go in our mini stove!
